Bayern Munich are actively pursuing Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz, according to journalist Maximilian Koch on his social media. The club hopes to acquire the player for €100 million by the summer of 2025.
Bayern's management holds Wirtz in high regard, and there are reports that Real Madrid is also interested in the talented midfielder.
Wirtz has been part of Bayer Leverkusen since January 2020, with his contract running until the summer of 2027. So far this season, he has scored seven goals and provided two assists in eight matches.
Transfermarkt estimates Wirtz’s market value at €130 million, and it was previously reported that Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen have plans for Wirtz to transfer to the Spanish club in 2025.
