Bayer Leverkusen are determined to keep attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz amidst growing interest from major European clubs.
Transfermarkt estimates Wirtz at €130 million. Last season, he helped Bayer win both the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal. In the current campaign, he has scored six goals and provided one assist in ten matches across all competitions.
According to Kicker, Bayer's management plans to offer Wirtz a new contract that would run until 2028. Both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are reportedly keen on securing his services.
Earlier reports indicated that Real Madrid are looking to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, while Bayern Munich is prepared to increase Jamal Musiala's salary to prevent his departure.
