Barcelona's sporting director Deco has held discussions with Bayer Leverkusen center-back Jonathan Tah regarding a potential transfer to the Spanish club.
According to Florian Plettenberg, Barcelona have a strong chance of signing Tah next summer as a free agent, as his contract with Bayer is set to expire on June 30, 2025. The journalist also notes that both the club and the player were satisfied with the discussions.
In the 2024/25 season, Tah has played 21 matches across all competitions, scoring one goal. Transfermarkt estimates him at 30 million euros.
Bayer Leverkusen currently sit third in the Bundesliga standings, having accumulated 23 points after 12 matches in the German league.
