According to the source, the leadership of the Catalan club has marked the Uruguayan as one of their key transfer targets for the upcoming summer. Barcelona aim to reduce expenses on the main squad and may part ways with the highly paid Polish forward.
Lewandowski has been playing for the Spanish powerhouse since the summer of 2022, with his contract running until 2026. This season, the Pole has featured in 45 matches for Barcelona across all competitions, scoring 24 goals and providing 9 assists.
