The management of FC Barcelona held a meeting to determine which positions require strengthening in the upcoming winter transfer window.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Joan Laporta, Hansi Flick, and Deco acknowledged that the team urgently needs to reinforce the left winger position, as the current players, Raphinha and Fermín López, have not been meeting expectations in that role.
Barcelona are currently in third place in the La Liga standings, with a total of 38 points after 19 matches played in the Spanish league.
Earlier reports indicated that Barcelona included unregistered Spanish midfielder Dani Olmo in the squad for their Copa del Rey semifinal match against Athletic Bilbao.
