The management of Barcelona is interested in the transfer of Athletic Bilbao striker Nico Williams this summer, reports Sport.es.
According to the source, the Blaugrana are ready to pay the release fee of €50 million, but the player intends to stay in his home team at least until 2025 to play in the European Cup with Athletic.
In 30 matches of the current season in all tournaments Williams scored six goals with 14 assists, and helped Athletic win the Spanish Cup. The Transfermarkt website estimates his value at €50 million.
