Barcelona board member Mikel Camps has criticized Real Madrid forward Vinicius Júnior ahead of El Clasico on Saturday, October 28.
The criticism of the Catalan club's official was triggered by the Brazilian's stepovers during the match of the third round of the UEFA Champions League against Braga, where Madrid won 2-1. Vinicius made two goal assists in that match.
Camps wrote on his social media, later deleting the post:
It's not racism, he deserves a slap for being a clown. What do these unnecessary and meaningless stepovers represent in the center of the field?
Earlier, Jude Bellingham called Vinicius one of the best players in the world. After racist insults against the Brazilian striker in a Primera match, Sevilla kicked a fan out of the stadium.
Real will meet Barcelona as the leader of the standings of the Spanish championship, one point ahead of the principal rival.
