A commercial court in Spain ruled that Barcelona are prohibited from registering midfielder Dani Olmo in La Liga for the remainder of the season, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Catalan club has the right to appeal this decision until the end of the year.
According to a clause in his employment contract, the inability to register Olmo will automatically make him a free agent.
Olmo joined the Catalan club in August 2024. He has played a total of 15 matches for the team, scored six goals, and provided one assist. The Spaniard's contract with Barcelona runs until June 2030. Transfermarkt estimates the 26-year-old midfielder at 60 million euros.
Previously, TEAMtalk reported that Arsenal are interested in signing Olmo. Additionally, Sport.es shared the management's plans for the summer transfer window regarding the Blaugrana.
