Press service of the Spanish football club Barcelona officially declared the exit of three players in the La Liga summer off-season.
The club stated that Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo, who played for Barça on loan from Atletico and Manchester City, were leaving the club. However, this message was later deleted. Journalist Gerard Romero noted on his social media that Barcelona wishes to keep these players.
It was also revealed that the Catalans will not renew the contract with Marcos Alonso.
In the 2023/24 season, Barcelona secured the second position in the Spanish championship, earning 85 points over 38 matchdays.
Earlier, coach Josep Guardiola assured that he would not return to the Catalan club.
