Atletico Fans Plan Racist Campaign Against Vinicius

Fans of Atletico Madrid are planning to attend the derby against Real Madrid wearing disposable masks aiming to insult Real’s player Vinicius Junior. This was reported by the Spanish media outlet OK Diario.

Sources indicate that Atletico's ultras have organized a social media campaign urging other fans to wear masks to conceal their identities while targeting the player with insults.

Reports suggest some of these fans have been spreading racist messages aimed at Vinicius, who has faced similar abuse in Spain multiple times.

The match between Atletico and Real will take place on September 29 at 22:00 GMT+3 at the Civitas Metropolitano Stadium during the eighth round of La Liga. Earlier, Marca named Vinicius as a potential future recipient of the Ballon d'Or.
