
Aston Villa have officially announced the loan signing of winger Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.
According to various sources, the 27-year-old player has been loaned with an option to buy for £40 million.
Rashford, a product of the Manchester United academy, has played 24 matches in all competitions this season, contributing seven goals and three assists. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2028, and his market value is estimated at €55 million, according to Transfermarkt.
Currently, Aston Villa are in eighth place in the Premier League table with 37 points.
Previously, former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher urged Manchester United's management to sell Marcus Rashford.
In other news, the 27-year-old forward has expressed a desire to leave the English club and continue his career at Barcelona.
