Cristiano Ronaldo, who will turn 40 on February 5, is set to extend his contract with the Saudi football club Al-Nassr for another season. This information comes from AS, citing El Khabar.
The Portuguese forward's current contract with the Saudi Pro League club is set to expire in the summer of 2025; however, according to sources, Ronaldo has accepted the offer for an extension and is in the process of signing a new agreement.
Ronaldo is expected to earn 200 million euros per year, maintaining his status as the highest-paid footballer in the world with a weekly salary of around 3.8 million euros.
Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in July 2023 and has played a total of 84 matches for the club, scoring 75 goals and providing 18 assists. His transfer value is estimated at 12 million euros by Transfermarkt.
Previously, former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp did not name Ronaldo as one of the top top three footballers in history.
