AS Roma Announces Sacking of Manager Daniele De Rossi

Italian coach Daniele De Rossi has left his position as head coach of AS Roma. This information was confirmed by the press service of the Roman club on their official website.

Currently, Roma sits in 16th place in the Serie A standings for the 2024/2025 season, with only three points from four matches.

The club's statement stated that the decision was made with the team’s interests in mind, aiming to quickly return to their “desired path” while the season is only starting.

De Rossi was appointed as the new head coach of Roma on January 16, 2024, signing a contract up to the end of the season and replacing Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho.
