Arne Slot, the head coach of Merseyside club Liverpool, has made history as the first manager to win his first two matches in the English Premier League (EPL).
On August 25, Liverpool confidently secured a 2-0 victory over Brentford in their second EPL match. In the first round, Liverpool also defeated Ipswich with a score of 2-0.
Slot has been at the helm of the English club since the summer of 2024, previously managing Dutch club Feyenoord.
After two matches, Liverpool currently sits in fourth place in the EPL standings, with the team earning six points.
