
Following Real Madrid's defeat to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final (2-3), head coach Carlo Ancelotti addressed questions regarding his future with the club.

Before this, there were rumors about Ancelotti possibly leaving Real Madrid at the end of the season, along with speculation about his potential appointment as the head coach of the Brazilian national team.
Los Blancos were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the quarter-finals and also lost the Supercopa de España final to Barcelona (2-5). Currently, the Madrid club is in second place in the La Liga standings with 72 points.
Earlier reports indicated that Real Madrid director Santiago Solari would lead the team at the Club World Cup if Ancelotti steps down as head coach.
