Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has stated the one condition under which he might retire from coaching.
Carlo Ancelotti for L'Équipe
Can I imagine retirement? I can imagine it... I started in football forty-eight years ago. So, I start to think about the day this might end. What could make me say stop? I would say if Madrid fired me (laughs). I don’t know what would make me stop. My family? No. My wife wants me to continue!
Ancelotti previously managed Real Madrid from 2013 to 2015. The 65-year-old Italian coach returned to the club in 2021 and has continued to lead the team since then.
Throughout his career, Ancelotti has also managed clubs such as Parma, Juventus, AC Milan, Chelsea, PSG, Bayern Munich, Napoli, and Everton.
According to Relevo, Carlo Ancelotti may face dismissal from Real Madrid if the situation at the club does not improve.
Furthermore, some influential figures within the club’s management believe that after a heavy 0-4 defeat to Barcelona, the Italian coach should leave the team.
