Earlier, despite an initial refusal from the league and the local football federation to register the players due to financial issues faced by the Blaugrana, the Spanish National Sports Council (CSD) allowed the Catalans to temporarily register the players until a final decision is made.
Real Madrid and Barcelona will face off in the Supercup final on Sunday, January 12. The tournament is taking place in Saudi Arabia.
