Through her legal representative, Aminata Diallo has denied being one of the parties to the violence committed on PSG teammate Kheira Hamraoui. The statement by her lawyer also claimed that the relationship between Aminata and Hamraoui has been wrongly portrayed. Aminata has also said that the media had already framed her as the criminal and that she’d take action if there is a case of defamation. Kheira was beaten badly and had to get stitches on her legs after Diallo and Hamraoui had a meal and were attacked by two masked men of fourth November.

(There is a) totally artificial suggestion of a rivalry between Aminata and Mrs. Kheira Hamraoui that would explain why she would target her team-mate. This theory does not reflect at all the reality of their relationship. (We criticize) media speculation which has already condemned her, without justification, and she will not hesitate to launch legal action if necessary against any defamation.
