Former Barcelona and Brazilian national team player Dani Alves has vowed not to flee Spain if he is temporarily released from custody.
On Saturday, March 16, it was reported that the famous former footballer may be released from prison until a hearing next week. It will consider Alves' request for temporary release until the court verdict takes effect.
In February, a Barcelona court sentenced one of the most titled football players in history to four and a half years in prison for raping a woman in 2022. The player is also ordered to pay €150,000 in moral compensation.
