Massimiliano Allegri, the 57-year-old Italian coach known for his successful tenures with Juventus and AC Milan, will become the head coach of Saudi club Al-Ahli. This announcement was made by insider Fabrizio Romano on social media.
According to the source, Allegri and Al-Ahli have reached a preliminary agreement, with contract details expected to be finalized in the coming days. It is expected that the Italian coach will take charge of the team in June 2025, and in the meantime, the club will appoint an interim manager.
Throughout his coaching career, Allegri has won 14 trophies, including six league titles in Italy (five with Juventus and one with Milan) along with five Coppa Italia titles and three Italian Super Cups. He has also led Juventus to the UEFA Champions League final on two occasions.
Last summer, Juventus terminated Allegri's contract, and there were reports that he could take over the Serbian national team.
