Yesterday, on May 15th, Juventus won the Coppa Italia by defeating Atalanta in the final. "The Old Lady" secured victory with a narrow 1-0 score.
As a result, Juventus' head coach Massimiliano Allegri became a five-time winner of the trophy, surpassing Roberto Mancini and Sven-Göran Eriksson in number of wins.
Allegri has been leading Juventus since May 2021. Prior to that, he coached the Italian club from 2014 to 2019.
In January 2024, Allegri became the third coach to achieve 300 wins in Serie A, a feat previously accomplished by Nereo Rocco and Giovanni Trapattoni.
