All matches within the last 16 stage of the World Cup 2022 in Qatar ended on December 6, and the participants of the quarterfinals of the tournament became known.
Morocco sensationally defeated Spain in the round of 16 match of the World Cup-2022 in Qatar, which ended in a penalty shootout with a score of 3-0 in favor of the Moroccans. Portugal in the round of 16 met with the national team of Switzerland. The match ended with the victory of the Portuguese team with a score of 6-1.
Thus, all participants of the quarter-finals were announced:
Croatia vs Brazil (December 9, 18:00 GMT+3);
Netherlands vs Argentina (December 9, 22:00 GMT+3);
Morocco vs Portugal (December 10, 18:00 GMT+3);
England vs France (December 10, 22:00 GMT+3).
The World Cup in Qatar takes place from November 20 to December 18, 2022. The group stage ended on December 2. The semifinal matches of the tournament will be held on December 13 and 14, and the finals will be held on December 18.
