Liverpool’s right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold shared his thoughts about his future with the club in an interview with The Athletic, as his contract is set to expire in the summer of 2025.
There have been rumors in the past season regarding interest from Real Madrid in acquiring the defender, who was reportedly valued at €87.7 million.

I have always said I want to captain the club. That is a goal of mine, whether that happens is out of my hands. I want to be a Liverpool player this season [as a minimum] is what I will say.
In September, L’Equipe reported that the player might transfer to French club Nantes, but later the club's owner, Waldemar Kita, refuted this information.
