Portuguese football agent Paulo Barbosa spoke exclusively to Telecomasia.net about the offers received for Eduard Spertsyan, the midfielder and captain of FC Krasnodar.
– His agent Rafaela Pimenta is focused on the Italian market, and Krasnodar are asking for a minimum of 18 million euros. Napoli showed interest in Spertsyan, but for a sale to the Italian club to happen, they needed to offload some key players first, right?
– That’s totally true. I can confirm that there was indeed interest from Napoli. They have been watching him for quite some time and will continue to do so. The rest is just talk without specifics. Pimenta is indeed focusing on Italy, and the figure mentioned is correct.
– When will Spertsyan move to Europe? Should we expect a transfer this winter?
– Right now he’s focused on performing well for Krasnodar. Eduard is a very talented player. He needs to play confidently and demonstrate his level of talent. Sooner or later, he will transition to a top club. Krasnodar understand that they cannot keep a player who has already completed that level.
In ten matches of the current Russian Premier League season, the 24-year-old Spertsyan has scored five goals and provided two assists.
According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 20 million euros, and his contract with the club runs until June 30, 2026.
