Striker of KF Egnatia club and Ghana national team Raphael Dwamena had a heart attack during the match of the 13th round of the championship of Albania. The footballer later died in hospital. He was 28 years old.
The tragedy struck during the game with Partizani. The player collapsed on the lawn. It was decided not to continue the match.

The Ghana Football Association is sad to hear of the death of our former player Raphael Dwamena and wish to express our deepest condolences to his family at this difficult moment.
Dwamena played eight matches for his country's national team, scoring three goals.
