The tragedy occurred in the 70th minute of the match between Real Titan and Defensor Nueva. Gonzales collided with the goalkeeper, who rushed for the ball. After falling onto the field, urgent medical assistance was provided to the player, and he was swiftly transported to a hospital, but unfortunately, he could not be saved.
