Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez has terminated his contract with Greek Olympiacos by mutual consent of the parties, the club's press service reports.
The 31-year-old had been playing for the Greeks since last September. He has five goals in 23 games on his record.
Rodriguez began his European career at Porto, then played for European clubs such as Monaco, Real Madrid, Bayern and Everton. Before joining Olympiacos, the Colombian played one season for Qatar's Ar-Rayyan.
At the 2014 World Cup, James was the top scorer of the tournament with six goals for the Colombian national team.
