Midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery has become the youngest French PSG player ever to enter the field in an official match in the Parisian starting lineup.

The 16-year-old Frenchman was in the starting line-up for the French Cup 1/32 final match against Chateauroux (3-1) and played the entire 90 minutes on the pitch.

The previous record belonged to ex-Paris defender Mamadou Sakho, who was on the pitch from the opening minutes at the age of 17.

Zaïre-Emery is a pupil of PSG. He had previously played in five Ligue 1 games and also made his Champions League debut.
