After Matchday 2 of the fifth round of the group stage of Europa League 2023/24, 14 participants of the play-offs of the European championship have been determined.
Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen and Liverpool will continue their performance in the championship, as they have secured the first place in the group and direct access to the next stage of the tournament.
Brighton, Freiburg, Marseille, Rennes, Roma, Slavia, Villarreal and West Ham will also play in the playoffs, but it is not yet known from which round the teams will start their performances. Sporting Lisbon finished second in the group and advanced to the 1/16 finals (knockout round of the playoffs).
Feyenoord and Young Boys, who finished third in their groups in the Champions League, will also take part in the tournament from the 1/16 finals stage.
The final round of the Europa League group stage will take place on December 14.
