The final teams for the World Cup are going to be decided soon and mostly this has been a lopsided tournament. However, that didn’t turn out to be the case in the game between Scotland and Israel as Scottish men pulled through three-two. Zahavi got the first goal for Israel and John Mginn tied the game. After about two minutes of the goal by John, Israel’s Munnas Dabur netted one to regain the lead.
In the second half, Lyndon Dykes struck ten minutes after the half-time break. Then a dramatic moment came when Scott McTominay of Scotland nailed a goal four minutes into the stoppage to give Scotland a clutch three-two win. The rest of the games turned out to be lopsided and the results are given below:
- Azerbaijan 0:3 Republic of Ireland;
- Moldova 0:5 Denmark;
- Andorra 0:5 England;
- Poland 5:0 San Marino;
- Switzerland 2:0 North Ireland.
