FIBA Women’s AfroBasket is going to tip-off in Cameroon today. In the last edition of the tournament, Nigeria beat Senegal 60-55 to win their second title in a row. Nigeria is on a hot streak and has won seventeen games in a row in Africa. Senegal has made it to the Finals six of the last seven times, winning twice, and has the most titles under their belt with eleven since the tournament began in 1966. There is a lot at stake here as the teams that will reach the Finals are also going to earn a trip to the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup slated for next year. Here is the schedule for the day:
