Four-time Formula 1 champion, German pilot Sebastian Vettel said that sometimes he has an idea about returning to the races.
Sky News quotes Vettel as saying:
I am speaking to Toto. I don't know if that qualifies as Mercedes, but about other things. I'm talking to a lot of people because I know them, but not very specific. I mean obviously it does cross my mind, I do think about it, but it's not the main thought.
The 36-year-old German added that communicated with the head of many teams, but specified that it was not only about racing.
Sebastian Vettel left Formula 1 in 2022 after 16 seasons of work. During this time he became world champion four times.
Earlier it became known that in 2025 the Briton Lewis Hamilton will leave Mercedes and become a pilot of Ferrari.
The head of the team Formula 1 Mercedes Toto Wolff called the names of potential replacements of Lewis Hamilton. Ex-head of Haas and former technical director of Red Bull Gunter Steiner assessed the chances of the Briton to win a record eighth title with Ferrari.
