The race in the Monaco F1 Grand Prix of Formula One took place on May 28. The Red Bull driver Max Verstappen became the winner of the race.
The Dutch racer won his 40th victory in the most prestigious auto racing series and broke Sebastian Vettel's (Germany) record of races won for Red Bull.
Spaniard Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin finished second, 27.921 seconds behind the winner. Frenchman Esteban Ocon of Alpina (+36.990) finished third.
The Monaco Grand Prix victory was the fourth for Verstappen in the 2023 season and he retained his lead in the F1 individual standings with 144 points. Another Red Bull driver Sergio Perez is in second place in the overall standings with a gap of 39 points. Alonso is in third place, 51 points behind the leader.
