Verstappen Threatens Leaving Formula 1 Amid Swearing Scandal

Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen mentioned in an interview with Autosport that he is contemplating leaving Formula 1 after a recent scandal regarding foul language used during a press conference.

On September 20, the International Automobile Federation (FIA) mandated that Verstappen would need to engage in “accomplish some work of public interest” following his use of profanity.

Max Verstappen
These kinds of things definitely decide my future. I am at the stage of my career where you don't want to be dealing with this all the time. It's really tiring.

After the qualifying session for the Singapore Grand Prix, he started giving brief responses to reporters' questions and suggested that they interview him outside the media center. The FIA later announced that there would be no punishment for Verstappen's actions.
