Four-time Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen from Red Bull assessed his chances of winning a fifth title in 2025 following his victory at the Japanese Grand Prix.
We want to be better than just sometimes being up there. So we just keep working hard and just see where we can be at in Bahrain already. Hopefully, we keep on improving the car, you know, with the through corner balance, and then, hopefully it also unlocks, just in general, a bit more pace.
On Sunday, April 6, the main race of the third stage of the current F1 season, the Japanese Grand Prix, concluded at Suzuka Circuit with Verstappen securing the win.
This victory marked Verstappen’s first win of the season and the 64th of his career.
The next Grand Prix is scheduled to take place at the Bahrain circuit on April 13.
Previously, Verstappen commented on Red Bull's decision to reinstate Yuki Tsunoda in the main lineup in place of Liam Lawson.
Additionally, the 27-year-old Red Bull driver's 1,029-day reign atop the Formula 1 standings ended after the 2025 Australian Grand Prix.
