Everyone that tries to make it in the sport is working for it every day, they deserve a shot for sure. I’ve only seen Yuki yesterday quickly, he's been busy at the factory. At the end of the day, it’s not really up to me. He has to find it out for himself because my experience might not be his experience.
Verstappen had previously expressed his discontent with how quickly Lawson was relegated to the junior team, while team principal Christian Horner said the decision aimed to protect Lawson's confidence.
This will be Tsunoda's first time racing for Red Bull during his fifth season in F1, making him the most experienced junior driver to join the senior team. Tsunoda will debut this weekend at the Japanese Grand Prix after being chosen to replace Liam Lawson, who struggled with the car's speed.
