Three-time Formula-1 champion and Red Bull driver Max Verstappen commented on the British team Williams' decision to give the car of Logan Sargeant to Alexander Albon after he crashed his car in practice in Australia.
Max Verstappen
I'm obviously not in that position, but I'd be on a plane home right now. If that happened to me I would completely wreck my car too, nobody else can drive it.
The Dutch driver added that from a performance standpoint, he understands the British team's decision, but, in his opinion, it will not be easy for American driver Logan Sargeant.
It is worth noting that Max Verstappen secured pole position in qualification and will start the race in Australia from the first place.
Earlier, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff admitted to being interested in signing Max Verstappen.
