Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has surpassed three-time world champion Ayrton Senna in the number of wins in Formula 1.
On July 2 Verstappen became the best at the Austrian Grand Prix. The 25-year-old won the 42nd race of his career and thus beat Senna, who has 41 wins in Formula 1.
Verstappen became the fifth in the number of F1 Grand Prix won. The Dutchman is second only to Alain Prost (51), Sebastian Vettel (53), Michael Schumacher (91), Lewis Hamilton (103).
Verstappen is a two-time and reigning world champion. He is also the leader of the current season. He has 229 points and is 81 points ahead of his Mexican teammate Sergio Perez who is second.
