Danish Formula 1 driver Kevin Magnussen will be leaving the races at the end of the 2024 season, according to journalist Craig Slater.
Slater's words are quoted by Sky Sports:
It's nearly certain that Magnussen will end his Formula 1 career after departing from Haas at the end of 2024. Magnussen has had a good, solid career. It looks as though he will be heading away from F1, there doesn't seem an obvious location for him to continue his career on the grid.
Ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix race weekend, it was announced by the Haas team that Magnussen would be parting ways with the squad at the end of the season. Magnussen had been with Haas from 2017 to 2020 and from 2022.
The head of the McLaren F1 Team, Andrea Stella, shared his opinion that Magnussen's actions during the Miami Grand Prix warrant a disqualification by the FIA. On May 4th, during the sprint race, the Danish driver repeatedly went off track limits and aggressively defended against his pursuers.
