Spanish driver Carlos Sainz has selected the team he will compete with in the 2025 Formula 1 season, according to F1-Insider.
According to the source, the racer will play for Williams, having signed a one-year contract with the team with an option to extend for another year.
In the current season Sainz plays for Ferrari, which will leave at the end of 2024 due to the expiration of the contract.
Former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard, speaking about Sainz's possible career continuation, recommended him to become a reserve driver of Ferrari.
