Online platform OnlyFans may soon be the primary sponsor for the Formula 1 team Alpine. Journalist Matthew Thompson announced this news on social media.
According to insider information, the two parties are in negotiation stages, and if successful, the team could expect significant investments.
Should the agreement be finalized, OnlyFans would replace BWT, the water treatment systems manufacturer, as the team's sponsor. Potentially, the team could be rebranded as "OnlyFans Alpine F1 Team."
Representing Alpine are French drivers Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon. In the Constructors' Championship for 2024, the team currently holds eighth place with a total of 11 points.
