Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc shared his motivations for renewing his contract with the Italian team in the podcast Beyond the Grid.

Can I become a champion with Ferrari? Yes, for sure. Otherwise I wouldn't have signed again. Even if you don't have a title chance, to drive for Ferrari is an incredible honour. But, to get the best out of me, I need to believe in the project I'm in.
He expressed confidence that he is in the right team, which will compete in the future against Mercedes and Red Bull.
The 26-year-old Charles Leclerc extended his contract with Ferrari last winter. His new agreement will last until the end of 2029. Starting in 2025, Lewis Hamilton will be Leclerc’s teammate, replacing Carlos Sainz, who will move to Williams.
Leclerc also told whether he would show mercy to British driver Lewis Hamilton, who will become his teammate next year.
