Jos Verstappen, the father of three-time Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen, shared his thoughts on his son's prospects of securing another title this season.
Jos stated, according to GPblog:
Max never gives up. Championship is more important. Of course we are trying to win that. If you only finish second and third every time, it could be different than not winning the championship in the end.
Currently, Max Verstappen leads the drivers' standings with 295 points. British driver Lando Norris from McLaren is in second place with 225 points, while Charles Leclerc from Ferrari holds the third position with 192 points.
Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen, who races for Red Bull, has mentioned that he is not thinking about a new contract at this moment. His current agreement with the Austrian team is set to expire in 2028.
