Winning the championship for Ferrari is the first. That's what I'm working towards. I don't think about the number eight. Ferrari has not won a drivers' championship since 2007 - a drought Hamilton is aiming to end this year. So, for me, it's looking for that first one with the team, and right now it's about how can I contribute to that? How can I help them achieve that?
The 40-year-old racer joined Ferrari this season.
It’s worth noting that during his 11 years with Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton won seven Formula 1 titles.
Previously, former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner discussed how much time Hamilton would need to adapt to Ferrari.
Additionally, it has been announced that the British driver will participate in his first joint event with the Italian team, set to take place in March this year in Milan.
