
Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time Formula 1 champion and 40-year-old driver for Ferrari, explained why he was unable to qualify higher than fifth in the Chinese Grand Prix despite his victory in the sprint race.
Hamilton shared that the weekend began with optimism, but the changes made the car's handling complicated. He also pointed out that stronger winds further worsened the situation, making it almost impossible to achieve a perfect lap.

He stressed that feeling confident going into corners is crucial, rather than struggling with oversteer. Hamilton concluded that when the car's behavior is unpredictable, there’s little chance for a good result.
