Formula 1 Set to Extend Contract for Mexican Grand Prix

According to Mexico City Mayor Clara Brugada, Formula 1 plans to extend its agreement for the Mexican Grand Prix. The event was reintroduced to the world championship in 2015.

Clara Brugada, quoted by RacingNews365
April 30. Next week we will sign the agreement with F1. So this is good news.

Before that, the racetrack hosted races until 1992. The current agreement, which allows races at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, is in effect until the end of 2025. There had been speculation that if Sergio Perez leaves Formula 1, the contract might not be renewed.

The Mexican Grand Prix is scheduled for October 24-26, 2025.
