Business magazine Forbes published a rating of the highest-paid Formula 1 drivers in 2023. The writers have gathered information about the income of the athletes exclusively from public sources.
They have taken into account the salaries of the drivers, and the bonuses they received. Dutch driver Red Bull Max Verstappen, whose income for the year amounted to $70 million, became the leader of the rating.
Briton Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes-AMG team took second place on this indicator. His income amounted to $55 million dollars. Spanish Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin), who earned $34 million dollars, rounded out the top three.
In total, the total earnings of the ten highest-paid drivers amounted to $258 million, which is $6 million less than the income for 2022.

- Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) - $ 14 million ($ 8 million + $ 6 million);
- George Russell (Mercedes-AMG) - $ 9 million ($ 4 million + $ 5 million);
- Pierre Gasly (Alpine) - $ 8 million ($ 5 million + $ 3 million);
