FIA Punishes Verstappen for Public Interest Work Over Profane Language

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has taken action regarding Max Verstappen, the 26-year-old three-time world champion and Dutch driver for Red Bull Racing.

In light of multiple warnings issued to drivers about the prohibition of using profane language, the FIA has decided that Verstappen must complete a certain amount of "work of public interest" instead of receiving a standard warning. The details of this community service have not been disclosed.

Additionally, Verstappen was previously under investigation by the FIA for failing to adhere to the virtual safety car protocols.
