
Formula 1 team Ferrari has announced the name of the car it will field in the upcoming season. The machine is named SF-25. The official presentation of the car will take place on February 19.
In the 2025 season, Ferrari will feature Charles Leclerc from Monaco and Lewis Hamilton from the UK. On January 1, Hamilton officially joined Ferrari after the expiration of his contract with Mercedes. According to media reports, Lewis's annual earnings with the new team will rise to $100 million.
It was reported on January 29 that Hamilton crashed the SF-23 car during the second day of private testing in Barcelona, Spain, as per a Spanish edition of Motorsport.
The first round of the new Formula 1 season will take place in Melbourne, Australia, from March 14 to 16.
It was also recently revealed that Formula 1 will exclude the Dutch Grand Prix from its calendar in 2026, while the contract for the Belgian Grand Prix has been extended until 2031.
