The Ferrari team has been found guilty of breaching the Formula 1 Sporting Regulations during the second practice session of the Canadian Grand Prix, as reported by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) press service.
During the race, Charles Leclerc used intermediate tires on the track. However, as the race management had not formally declared the session as wet, the use of this tire type was prohibited.
After reviewing the situation, stewards penalized Ferrari with a fine of five thousand euros.
